Emilio Butragueno

Emilio Butragueno was born in Madrid, Spain on Jul. 22, 1963. He was widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers of his generation for his outstanding performance on football fields, domestic, abroad and international competitions. He played for the Spain national football team for 69 times as a forward, scoring 26 goals totally. Fabulous goals and performances help him winning opportunities to play for the Real Madrid. In the playing career, he was nicknamed “The Vulture” for his remarkable performances.

At club level, Butragueno accumulated 123 goals in 341 games in 12 season. In 1984, he accomplished his first appearance at international level at the 1986 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
